Her chaufa chicharrón is as good as anything she can find in any chifa in lima. the menu is a kind of typical Peruvian wine, along with some things like hamburger that are not Peruvian. to compare it with a restaurant in lima, it would be along the lines tanta or brujas de cachiche, but without the rich, since rokoto and many other ingredients from peru are easy to come into the usa. I was here several times and tried about half of the menu. it's all pretty good and Peruvian as simply Peruvian inspired as they claim. this is one of the best restaurants in seattle and I highly recommend it.
Great eating cocktails to couple. best lomo-saltado, the beef-tenderoin is so moist. we are coming back in a definitiw. great service!
I really wish pink salt is better than it is. maybe a new cook with better cookers is necessary. eating was meh. the cocktails are expensive.
Impressed. The food was unique and delicious. We had the octopus appetizer, the steak pesto dish and the mixed seafood, that I thought was particularly scrumptious. We ordered the pisco sours, which were too sweet for us but that’s us, we don’t like anything very sweet. The room had intimate lighting and it is not too loud. Thanks for keeping the music at a reasonable level. The fact that I can’t remember what was playing is a good thing!!!
