Rumba Notes Lounge - Seattle

This large two-room restaurant and club/lounge is often quite empty or frequented mainly by locals. The themed nights are usually more expensive, with entry fees of up to $20 per person, but these events are very popular and full of fun! The talent or open mic nights are particularly lively, as performers bring a lot of energy. The staff is friendly, though their availability of your favorite alcoholic beverages can be hit or miss. The East African food and snacks are excellent, providing a delightful culinary experience. The atmosphere is definitely casual, but the restaurant's decor is quite outdated, featuring old furniture that can be uncomfortable. However, the bathrooms have always been clean! An update to the event room rentals and additional promotions would be beneficial. Overall, this is a fantastic chill spot with great people and delicious food!

This is a lovely restaurant with a great dance floor, making it a fantastic spot for African social gatherings.

We had a fantastic time at the Zouk Lovers Affair Night, featuring Alan Cave as the artist of the evening. The crowd was vibrant and energetic, creating a great atmosphere! The food was excellent, earning a perfect 5/5.

The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff are excellent. The drink prices are reasonable, and the food is great, both in taste and portion size. The music adds to the overall experience!

I noticed that not many people were there, and the music was not as light as I had hoped. It felt like people weren't really dancing or engaging with the music. I observed a lot of people coming in and out, but I think the DJ needs to improve the music selection. Guests should be able to enjoy the tunes while sipping their drinks. That's my take on it. I've been to this place three times, and it’s starting to grow on me. I never miss a chance to stop by when I'm around.
