Sumo Sushi - Seattle

When we arrived, we sat down at a table and the owner came out to greet us. She welcomed us, asked if we had another appointment, and expressed her hopes for its success. She then treated us to more incredible sushi, which was very fresh, and she remembered our drink preferences. When we mentioned our love for kimchi, she surprised us with some of her homemade version to enjoy with our meal, and it was fantastic. Overall, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed in this charming little restaurant. We received excellent sushi that was expertly prepared, and we were treated wonderfully by the owners. After spending several years in LA and dining at some amazing sushi spots, I’m thrilled to have found this hidden gem, and I can confidently say it will become a regular stop for us!
