The atmosphere was calm and friendly, which added to our enjoyment. The menu was intriguing; my girlfriend is quite knowledgeable about Chinese cuisine, and she inquired about a North Thai curry we’d never seen before, served as something called "Golden Sizzle." It might have been one of the best Thai dishes I've had in years! The flavors were incredible—almost like a red-yellow curry—and I couldn't help but finish off her plate, it was that good. Although it was a bit pricier than other places we frequent, at $12, it was definitely worth it, and I'll be getting it again next time. While there are plenty of Thai restaurants around, many of them are lacking in quality despite their lower prices. I ordered the green curry, which was tasty but could have benefited from a bit more eggplant. Still, it was an exemplary version of the dish, which I always try at new Thai restaurants. I might give the eggplant dish a shot next time as a vegetarian option. One interesting feature of the restaurant was a sign in the bathroom claiming that Yelp tends to hide positive reviews in favor of showing negative ones, which has led to frustration among their regulars. As someone who follows tech trends, I'm aware that many small businesses have raised similar concerns about Yelp’s practices concerning ratings and reviews. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Thai Fusion. It’s definitely worth a try, perhaps after a night out!
Oh my god! we love Thai food and Thai fusion. the green beans are just perfect, so good! I love the green curry and it meets like never before. I recommend the green one if you want to try something new. expected not what came out and uohhh my goodness! from outside it doesn't look so big, but when you go, it's such a sweet little spot! and spacious! highly recommended.
This restaurant was quite busy today; I was surprised at how quickly it filled up, but the service was equally fast! The lunch combo is fantastic, featuring delicious Pad Thai, rice, and a choice of five different "pornstars." I wish I could try so many of the options! We placed an order for four people, and it took about 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The decor is beautiful, and it's conveniently located near SPU. Plus, there's free street parking available outside.
I also enjoy the Pad See Ew and have ordered it several times. It's usually good, but I've had a few less-than-stellar experiences. The dish typically comes with carrots and broccoli, although the broccoli can be a bit sparse, while the carrots are always plentiful. However, if I order for delivery on busy nights, like a Friday at 8 PM, the quality tends to drop. The noodles can stick together, lacking sauce and flavor, and the relationship between the carrots and broccoli often feels off. Overall, if the food is good, it's among the best in Seattle, but if it misses the mark, it definitely falls towards the bottom tier.
Ordered the thai basil fried rice and panang curry for takeout right before close, food was phenomenal and was handed to me with a smile! Great local spot definitely put it on your list!
