Ramen Gaijin - Sebastopol

If you know, you know. Six years ago, we happened upon this fine establishment was blown away by the complex deep flavers. That was so beautifully plated. When we drove away in bliss, still reminiscing about our experience. We forgot to write anything down. We were lost but now we have found it again. I come here for the ramen but it's sadly the weakest thing on the menu. I've had every variety and spicy is the most well rounded and flavorful option. The shoyu is insanely salty and somehow paired with wakame, which doesn't create a good balance. The vegetarian is just bland and sad. Their donburi are very good and a kind of Korean Japanese fusion. Cocktails are unique and flavorful. For the price I do expect more of a consistent quality with the menu items. Overall food is okay, service is great.

I came here with friends to try out the ramen the everybody was raving about. To me it was okay, taste just like every other ramen out there, except they had chantrelle mushrooms and you can order it on the side and it was delicious but too expensive!!

I went here for a dinner on Friday and they were pretty busy! I’d recommend making a reservation if you can, as some people had to wait. I had the spicy tan tan ramen and it was great, the meat was cooked really well and the flavors all meshed together. I’ll be coming back!

The food was ok, but it took forever to have our food served (an hour after seated). The waiter knew it was my birthday, but when I ask for dessert menu, it also took 20 minutes for him to come back to check on us. It was a terrible experience having dinner there
