We really enjoyed our meal. the food was very fresh and beautifully presented
This was an excellent place to go for a date. Everything from food to service and atmosphere was completely Right On The Dot. It just happened that we ended up being the only ones there after about 7:30pm. The only 2 tables that were there left shortly after we arrived. I highly recommend this very comfy and quite atmosphere. This was more than worth it Thai Food. Everything was done with us in mind.
A quiet, clean place with a wide variety of nicely prepared Thai dishes. The garlic noodles are killer, try them with barbecued pork.
Excellent Thai, not your usual oversweetened c**p. We're fans of Daughter Thai/Oakland which is similar to Lers Ros, so appreciate Sukhothai's restrained use of sugar. Loved the yam and Angel Wings starters, note yam is very generous size so 4 of us barely finished it. Appetizer platter assortment was good, with cone-shaped prawn rolls, chicken satay, and fishcake best of the bunch. Beef meat salad needed more lettuce, nice tart dressing. Squid salad was outstanding-soft, tender squid! Garlic noodles also outstanding-not greasy, good garlicky flavor without those horrid commercial chopped toasted garlic bits other places like to smother this dish with. Despite name, we found the BBQ pork ribs a little dry. Liked the curry rub on the BBQ chicken, and the BBQ pork cutlet was better than the ribs (you can add it to the noodles for a full-meal bowl). Summed up: an unexpected ethnic gem in a tiny strip mall just past the Safeway on the main drag in Sebastopol. Cute place, good service!
