Rubicon Fish Shop - Sebastopol

I've always found the quality very good - especially the fish. The lack of Eftpos facilities however is inconvenient.

We were customers for many years however after recently placing a phone order and driving down to pick it up found that they hadn't included the fish and then disputed that we have in fact order it, despite us correcting the order when it was read back to us over the phone. To make matter worse they then argued with us that we have never ordered the fish and demanded payment...upon which we walked out. This on top of the fact that our daughter used to work there for a short period and was only paid a little over $8 per hour cash in hand and was verbally abused by management constantly. There is a reason this place only accepts cash and doesn't have EFTpos facilities. Plenty of other good fish and chip shops around...we have found Blue Seas Fish Shop a brilliant alternative, do yourselves a flavour!

Great fresh fish and chips, Fresh fish, battered as they cook it and yummy chips. They even know that FIsh Cakes have to be well done to be delicious.

We have been going to this shop for years now since moving closer to the area. The batter is fresh, usually perfectly cooked fish and chips. Clean oil used! They have the occasional off day but due to so many good experiences we keep coming back. Great to be able to ring ahead and I love the scallops. I think it's time to try a pumpkin cake.

The fish is always so nice and a good size, I always get the family pack it's good value for money for nice quality food. If you want something different the Chinese dishes are also very tasty.
