Kretzschy's Smokey Bbq - Sebewaing

Last year, I proudly gave this place a 5-star review, as I thought it was a hidden gem. However, after being away for a year, I returned last week eager to support a local business and enjoy a nice lunch sandwich. Unfortunately, I ended up with a sandwich that was genuinely awful—so bad that I could only take a couple of bites before tossing it in the trash. It was disappointing enough that I felt I had to adjust my rating. I'm lowering it from 5 stars to 3. I believe that one dreadful sandwich shouldn’t erase all my previous 5-star experiences.

The loaded cheeseburger topped with pulled pork and served with fries was just what I craved after a long day of duck hunting.

I stopped by for the loaded fries, and wow, I couldn’t finish the whole thing—I had to share it with the kids! It was a solid 10/10. I’ll definitely be going back!

So, fantastic food and nice people. Not much of a sit down restaurant. Not many tables, very very rustic. That being said, the burgers and fries are top notch and they aren't stingy with the amount for the money. Woo definitely stop in on the next motorcycle trip!

I wanted to like this place more. Cheeseburger was O K.... It had the texture, shape, and taste of a frozen GFS burger. With the special sauce. From a BBQ place I expected a freshly seasoned formed burger. I understand a condiment bar, but there wasn't any lettuce. The fries didn't have any salt. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like boiled noodles with jalapeno Velveeta poured over the top. I could not eat that. Staff was friendly.
