Ordered dinner for Friday Night after work. Ordered Chicken Fingers with Fries, Lorezo's Burger with Mozarella and Sundried tomatoes and Linguine with White clam sauce. The pickup after I called in the order was fast and professional. I went in after scheduling the pickup. The food was still warm, so I don't need to blast them in the microwave. The chicken fingers with fries was plentiful. It can actually feed 2 people, even though it was an appetizer, the taste is slightly salty. The fries was moist not crunchy. They did give me a bunch of Heinz ketchup packets. So that was helpful to drown out the salt with some sweet. The burger tastes really good, I ordered well done and was still appreciative juicy in the center after I bite down on it. The mozzarella and sundried tomato lend an extra flavor bomb to the burger along with the sourness of the sliced pickles. The linguine with white clam sauce, is salty, but that is natural due to it being a seawater bivalves. The pasta is made al dente, you can bite into it without it being too limpy or too rough. The presentation is best when you eat inside the restaurant as you can see the shells with it's delicious meat. I've been inside to eat before at least five times. First time to carryout
We were saddened to learn that this restaurant will be closing its doors for good on Wednesday. It’s rumored that a bus company has purchased the property, planning to demolish it along with a nearby car wash to create a parking lot. Our waitress, who seemed a bit bitter, had not been informed of the sale by the owners—she had heard the news from customers instead. The food was enjoyable, although our appetizer was served lukewarm. The veal dish was flavorful, but the meat was quite tough. On the positive side, the salad that accompanied the meal was generous in size, and the portion sizes were satisfying. We would have returned if not for the impending closure. Unfortunately, many of the beers were out of stock due to the restaurant’s upcoming shutdown.
I used to visit this place frequently when I worked in Secaucus, and I always enjoyed it. However, I had completely forgotten about it until today. We were thrilled to go back, especially after checking their website, which stated they were open from 12 PM to 9 PM on Sundays. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found the restaurant closed. It would be great if you could update your website to prevent others from wasting their time like we did.
I returned to Lorenzo's and ordered the stuffed mushrooms.
