Golden City Restaurant - Sechelt

Was moving weekend for me, and googled good Chinese food in sechelt. Had the vegi chowmain and egg rolls. Crisp vegis. Lady told me it would be 45 minutes and it was almost exactly that. Friendly delivery driver. Recommend!

The atmosphere was pleasant not fancy, the server was awesome with a great sense of humour, the food was excellent and plentiful, we took lots home.

Ordered 3 dishes for takeout....all were bland, mediocre, and poorly executed...what you expected in small B.C. towns 25 years ago. It is too bad as Sechelt could use a decent Chinese resto.....the ambience inside was modest to the extreme. Certainly, other better choices available for Asian food e.g. All Thaied Up etc. don 't waste your money here.

Great food. Fast service. Great prices. Great staff. A very good and affordable lunch menu special. Eaten here often and always very good.

Not good. Deep fried prawns were so overcooked they tasted like sawdust. Singapore noodles were a wet gloppy mess. Other dishes were so greasy! Disappointing, they used to be a lot better.
