Taverna Adonis - Sector 6

This is a good option for people who love Greek food like me. The restaurant is located near Mall Plaza, a beautiful and cozy shopping center close to the other shopping center, AFI. The restaurant has Greek specialities and the food is very tasty and also... as an atmosphere. I think that's better than other Greeks in Bucharest, maybe not the best, but certainly a good option.

I'm really glad I found out this Greek place! because it's hidden in a small street, you couldn't just stumble over it. the place is small and humble, but eating that is absolutely delicious. I have tried many different dishes and all. they have tasted great. the aubergine and roasted red pfeffersalat (melitzanosalata) is to die, the filo teig wrapped feta cheese in balsamico vinegar and honey (feta tiganiti) is amazingly delicious! the fried courgette slices (kolokithia tiganita,) filled aubergine (melitzanes papoutsakia,) bifteki and moussaka were also very good. but, la pièce de résistance must be the dessert portokalopita! I loved it absolutely! although the others desserts were also good. if they like Greek eating, they will definitely enjoy it here.

Small Greek restaurant, one of the hidden gems in this area of the city (this type of lack of interesting food spots). The food was great, I loved the Melitzanosalata, Feta tiganiti and the Portokalopita is an amazing dessert. Maybe there's something missing in the area.

It is the klasmatic pattern of the typical Greek restaurant, small family where you feel good and you are welcome. Chef is a woman with great experience in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Lamb ribs are phenomenal. Herbs are taken from Greece. All dishes are cooked with freshly picked vegetables. There are Greek bands all weekend. You won't regret a moment when you spent an evening here. Sto Kalo!

Even though it's a small place, I can say it is a hidden gem, that not many get to visit. The place dudn't get the 5 stars just because 1 of the 2 rooms is very small and crouded, but when it comes to food...and serving quality, it is wonderful. All fresh, and all tastefull. Go for it and you'll not regret it.
