Shaanz Peri Peri - Sedgemoor

We often order from Shaanz and most of the time, the food is fantastic - fresh, hot, and importantly, correct. However, there have been occasions when the food arrived cold, with the driver explaining that he had taken a detour before delivering our order. This inconsistency can be frustrating, especially when the portion sizes are not as expected. Despite these occasional issues, when the food is good, it is really good. It may be worth considering collecting your order instead of opting for delivery to ensure that your food arrives fresh and hot.

Possibly the saltiest thing I have ever eaten. Big clumps of salty seasoning in my chips , not nice. It was saltier than the salt planes of Utah. I'd come here again if the weather forecast was for heavy frost as I'd use the chips on my drive to melt the ice. On a positive I'll never be mean to a slug again, the idea of using salt on the slimey little wassnames simply isn't fair..... I feel their pain!!! I'm not sure where the chefs come from, I'm guessing it's salta?? I'm looking for a nice chocolate bar to take away the taste, maybe I'll saltesers.

I placed my order at 7pm with an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes according to the website. However, 2 hours later, my food still had not arrived. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the restaurant, they finally answered and claimed they had tried to deliver but I did not answer the door. I explained that I had been waiting by the window and there was no red car in my street, only my grey car. The driver then became aggressive and accused me of lying, ultimately shouting and swearing at me over the phone. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told that none were available and given the option of having my cold food redelivered or receiving a refund. There was no apology for the driver's behavior or the mix-up in the address. Despite being a loyal customer, this experience was extremely disappointing and has led me to decide to never order from them again. I will be sharing this negative experience with others.

Chicken is moist and just falls off the bone, side orders are of the same standard. Prices are very reasonable.

I have dined at this restaurant many times and have never had a problem. The food is delicious and not overly salty, unlike what one reviewer claimed. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always served hot and tasty. You can choose from mild to very hot dishes, both of which are equally delicious. The portions are generous and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I am delighted that this place has opened in Bridgwater and will continue to order from here without any hesitation.
