Exmoor ale pint had a strong taste of vinegar , chose a Guiness for free sadly this also tasted of vinegar looking at google this shows the lines possibly has bacteria and not cleaned out properly and dangerous to your health . £14 for 2 courses was just about ok but not that impressed . Lovely to go back to a place that hasn’t changed for 30 years but it smells musty . Sadly I will not be going back , also they they turned the lights out to kick us out but online shows they are open all day ?? Food drinks: Review is for the pub only I didn’t stay in the rooms
Brilliant pub in a nice tucked away area. Owner was very welcoming and kind, 5* service. We really enjoyed our drinks and meal there and could not believe the value for money, contrary to some of the reviews on Google. All I can say is, take little notice of all the bad reviews. After all it is the Daily mail that they’ve been reading, known for it’s truth and reason Rooms: 5
Very interesting historical pub with nice tasty homemade food at good prices. Nice and cosy inside and the landlord was knowledgeable of the local area Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Avoid this place like the plague, landlord is a rude obnoxious nitwit! Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
Not a nice kind place staff refusing to serve a blind man because he had his guide dog with him, so shameful and against disability I will refuse to visit and so should everyone else Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
