Cafe Jose - Sedona

We've been visiting Jose's for quite a while, but this is the first time we didn't order any Mexican dishes. I tried the salmon, which was advertised as a specialty, but I found it to be rather ordinary. However, let me highlight what was truly outstanding: the flan and the cornbread were absolutely amazing. We will definitely keep coming to Jose's, but from now on, we'll stick to ordering Mexican food.

I was really impressed by this laid-back café. The coffee portions are generous, and the prices for the food are fair considering both the quantity and quality. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are clean. We ended up visiting four times in just one week!

From the iced tea to the seafood soup and the blackened chicken Caesar salad, everything was incredible! They also welcomed my service dog without hesitation, and he always behaves well while working. If we lived here, this place would definitely be one of our go-to spots. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

The menu was extensive, featuring all-day breakfast options, which was perfect for our group as we had varied cravings for a late morning or early afternoon meal. The portion sizes were generous. I opted for the Torta Cubana, which was a generous and stacked sandwich. It was a bit tricky to take a bite, but it was delicious and enjoyable—though perhaps not my usual choice for a sandwich, I appreciated the opportunity to try something new. Everyone in my group seemed to enjoy their meals as well. The service was good overall, but we did find ourselves waiting a bit for water refills.

This is likely some of the best Mexican food in Northern Arizona, and it offers fantastic value. But even more impressive? The service. I'm so pleased that I'm writing this review before I’ve even left the restaurant; the service is just that exceptional.
