Tamaliza - Sedona

This was the best vegan tamale I've ever had! They also offer a variety of other vegan options, including enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. The staff were all very friendly, too.

The vegan tamale at Supremo is incredibly delicious. It's not a $20 meal, but it's definitely worth trying. If you want to avoid parking next to a leather shop, you should turn into the road ahead of the café, not at the spot where the café's street sign is visible. The café is located between Airport Street and a real estate office, which makes it a bit tricky to see from the street.

Tamaliza is a nice family-run Mexican restaurant that prioritizes fresh organic ingredients. I ordered the vegan poblano paprika with mais tamale supreme. it was tasteful and delicious. the supremo plate comes with an addition of black beans, guacamole, raw spinat and some picking radishes. I found the amount of raw spinat too much to be and was not integrated into the dish that was good. I love myself something green, but the amount of raw spinat tasted like a thought and the tamale itself was smaller in comparison to the price. overall, the price for the plate is somewhat high considering that it is removed the cheese and acid cream, but the price remains the same. you can order the tamale a la carte and in person I would probably order it a la carte and get a few tacos to try it next time. updated by previous review on 2022-02-27

Great little find. I had the vegan enchiladas and they were delicious. I wish they did also have a vegan cheese though. They have vegan tamales and vegan tacos also. They say they use organic spinach and organic beans. I saw a garden outside restaurant with tomato and bell pepper plants. Not sure if this is where they get some of the ingredients? Anyway, cute chairs and nice view as well. The only issue is the price ouch! 3.5 stars Updated from previous review on 2018 08 26

Wish I could give more than 4 stars. Burritos and tamales have vegan options.
