Enchantment Resort is a one-of-a-kind resort and spa as I 'm sure you know. Yet how can you even imagine how intensely beautiful it is and the quality of the rooms, food, and service unless you visit? It 's like looking at a colorful photo of a Tahitian beach and thinking, Hmmm, that 's really nice , but you don 't go there to discover that there is nowhere on earth quite like it. Enchament Resort is much the same sort of jewel in the wilderness. In this case it 's the Red Rock wilderness of Sedona, Arizona.I worked at the restaurant at Enchantment back in 1989-1991. It was stunning to go to work each night and watch the sun set on the deep red sandstone cliffs. Now, when I visit and sit on the deck outside of the bar, I get to do the same while relaxing rather than working. Super bonus. The bar has advanced light years from back then and was remodeled just a few years ago along with much of the primary restaurant. It has a natural feel of wood and stone that lends itself to the canyon setting. The list of fine libations is nearly endless and the wine list is solidly one of the best in northern Arizona. If you are visiting Sedona and can book a casita here, do so. It will be one of your life 's fondest memories I guarantee. If you have reservations elsewhere, make sure to dine here one evening and relax later at the bar or on the deck. It may not be Tahiti, however you might just like it even more.
View 180 outdoor restaurant, with view of red rocks, was delightful. We had prickly pear margaritas, bacon-wrapped dates for happy hour.
Great views! Love the glass of vino after long hiking!
