Qibara Restaurant - Seeb

Went try on eid holidays, its was not crowded the staff are helpful, starters were amazing but mains was OK may be our choice was not there signatures, Thai beef salad is very authentic and tasty, prawn tempura was just perfect light and crispy came with some salad which was also simple and fresh, pizza is also quite good thin crust well seasoned and well balance between sauce and cheese, tandoori prawn was also nice came along with pulao rice and raita like a perfect Indian meal. They serve us complement dessert which was pistachio cake and that was best in all at end that made my day surely need to go back and try the cake again.

Atmosphere is good but staffs are less, the staff who is attending don't even know about food and ingredients and very slow too as after eating waiting for 15 minutes for the payment and after card transaction still he is saying not yet paid and in next few minutes slip is coming out. No apologies no regrets no thx too.

Worst food ever. Really Really disappointed with the buffet food. Soup was tasteless. They added hot water to the mutton gravy in front of us to increase the quantity. Then the taste of the mutton became watery. Biryani was bland with No salt at all and chicken was also hard. Mint chutney was again like water. In short NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED. Never ever go there for a buffet. We literally had minimal items from their spread and one person from our group had one samosa only since he was terrified by our reactions. We told the staff as well but still they charged us the full amount. Really horrible. The cutlery was unclean and the table was dirty sticky. They got a dirty wet cloth to clean the table which had such a foul smell like being next to a dustbin. We had to then ask him to change the cleaning cloth. I can go on and on for the experience I had. It was the worst food I ever had in Muscat in 6 years.

A beautiful restaurant with a good selection of food. eating is very tasty. interesting water cups and mocktails. good service. large portions. we had huh kebab satay and garnelen chimicheri satay for beginners, followed by lamb shiwa and garnelen. delicious!
