1149 Catering & Events - Seekonk

Although the location and setting is great there is no comparison to the brunch at 1149 in East Greenwich. If I didn't have the experience in Ea Greenwich I would say the brunch was good.

I had a gift certificate which is why I went. If you like the taste of bad grease, this might be up your alley. Even the omlet made to order tasted like nothing but grease. Even the mimosa wasn't drinkable as it tasted like it was made with sour (outdated) orange juice. And the ambiance, felt like I was visiting a restaurant from decades past. Glad I didn't pay for the meal as I didn't eat much of it.

Food was good but not has hot as I would have liked. It appeared that staff was short handed although other than having to deal with many guests, you never would have known! Great deal for a breakfast brunch.

Went for brunch on 3/12/17...made reservations ....they seated us immediately...the waiter was friendly, informative, and knowledgable...the food on the buffet was plentiful, hot, and fresh....the selection was good and omelets were made to order...they made a mistake on my friends' omelet...the waiter apologized and promptly replaced it to the friends' satisfaction....totally positive experience...would not hesitate to rebook and go again tomorrow if the situation should arrise.
