I ordered a beer and they were out of several brands. Chose an available one. Wondered why it was taking a bit to witness our server approach what I assume to be the owner for a key. The food was not good. Took over a half an hour once we ordered to receive the food. As a party of four some of the food was ice cold some was piping hot. Chicken was dry as dust but a return of that produced a fairly juicy one and twice the size. The baby back ribs are a joke. $19 for four of the smallest and driest ribs. My wife had the brisket which was pretty good honestly but her Mac and cheese had real shredded cheese in it that wasn’t melted and was cold. From that one can assume a very disorganized kitchen with little to no quality control. To complicate things further the menu has grown so much you can tell with that many items and diversity instead of being a master of one they’ll be a master of none. I don’t go to a bbq joint for their egg rolls and pho. Service. Meh, I’d like to cut this gal a break as she was dealing with a lot. But that doesn’t prevent a server from being somewhat friendly and to occasionally checking on your guests. I’d like to see a local business succeed but if nothing changes I’m thinking this place won’t be around too long.
I have been coming here for more than 30 years. We came for dinner as we knew it had changed over and wanted to see what it was like and there were 3 tables of customers, all who looked a bit angry. The kitchen staff was arguing and fighting so loud we could hear them. After 15 minutes of sitting with no service, we finally just walked out , followed by at least 4 other customers who had still not gotten their food. It’s sad as the new owner has changed the menus , removed AYCE specials and it has only taken a few weeks to run it into the ground. Very unfortunate but if this continues , they won’t be open long.
Unfortunately the restaurant has new owners and changed the name and food. The brisket and ribs I had was indescribably bad. I'm not sure how its possible to serve food this bland, dry and flavorless.
Pay attention people IT'S NOT hungry harry's any more
My wife and I live in St. Petersburg FL and we drive to Seffner to eat all you can eat ribs and chicken at Hungry Harry’s apparently now it’s called H&H barbecue. We traveled over there today to eat and the waitress informed us that they no longer have all you can eat Chicken/Ribs because a new owner took it over and changed it all up. Ribs were absolutely terrible. They should have never been brought out to the floor. They were dried out overcooked and disgusting. The chicken was and sausage was decent and sides were ok, but the brisket had a lot of fat. The waitress told us that she tried to get the new owner to keep the all you can eat on the menu, but he refuses to do that and she said that they have lost quite a few customers over this and they just lost us. We will not be back. Maybe the New owner needs to listen to his staff and his customers before he loses his business.
