Small yet perfectly formed a great place to relax and enjoy the great coffee etc that Caffe Nero presents to its customers.
We both went in for milk shakes which were fine as always. The whole cafe needs pulling down and totally rebuilt. Shoddy tired worn leather sofas, dark, air condition to high, toilet disgusting. Until its totally refurbished will not be back.
Everything needs a clean. The floor was filthy and the tray they tried to serve my order on was dripping in presumably coffee from the last customer.
Awful place. Late morning, not busy. Disinterested staff lacking in the basics of manners customer experience. Several tables uncleared definitely not cleaned. (It turns out customers are expected to clear their empties away to a plastic bowl, bin and tray stand). National/Regional managers would do well to “Mystery Shop” this establishment.
I'm a fan of the coffee in Caffe Nero so I used their refer a friend promotion to ger free drinks whilst my hubby I were staying in Southport. Caffe Nero's quality choice of food is better than other chains like Starbucks Costa coffee their latest Summer Menu with a side mixed slaw salad for just £1 is great. I had a chicken pesto savory my hubby had a Chicken Foccacia. They were perfectly prepared, not squashed or over cooked as some previous general Caffe Nero reviews have said. Coffees were spot on staff really friendly. Lord Street is also a lovely location. The vouchers for refer a friend program came straight away to us both my husband got stamps towards more hot drinks food on the Summer menu promotion so he's well happy!!
