There was a limited choice of wines that weren't the best quality, but the service was still good even though it was very busy on a hot sunny day. The ice cream, tea, and cakes were selling quickly. The entertainment by Elvis and the Blues Brothers was fantastic.
We be just purchased 2 ice creams and it cost £7!!! I don't mind paying that if I feel it's value for money but this really wasn't. Me and my husband wanted 2 scoops 1 of 2 different flavours. My understanding is you normally get a good portion of 2 flavours from when I've ordered this in the past from different vendors... not here though. 2 scoops is just that. The girl ran the scoop once through each flavour forget the hole in the middle of it as it curled. When she put it into the cone it barely came up over the sides and just sat in the wafer. She was going to hand it to me this way and I had to ask for more like I was in a rendition of Oliver! Needless to say I was that disappointed that I've eaten it and come straight to trip advisor to warn others before I've even left the pier. If you want value for money go elsewhere.
Excellent service great food and very acomidating well worth a visit. Fish and chips was spot on:
I know it is November but no matter how cold it is when visiting the seaside it is a must to eat an ice cream. Vanilla was my choice and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
