After a terrible hotel experience in Blackpool, we found ourselves in Southport and went out for breakfast on Sunday morning. The restaurant we initially chose from Google reviews was closed despite being listed as open, so we ended up at Love to Eat down the road. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great choice. My son and I enjoyed the pancake stacks with bacon and maple syrup, while my wife had the Love to Eat breakfast. The food was clearly freshly made and of high quality. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the coffees and pot of tea were delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast before leaving Southport. Once again, we were impressed with the delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning when we book another trip to Southport later this year.
I visited this restaurant for the first time in four years and was pleasantly surprised by the changes. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was delicious in a rustic way, and the atmosphere was clean and refreshing. I ordered the eggs benedict, which was perfectly cooked. The specials menu also looked very tempting. It was a delightful break from reality and I thoroughly enjoyed my 63-minute visit.
Honestly the worse experience eating out ever. I ordered ham cheese lettuce onion and cucumber sandwich on white bread my partner crumpets. Food came out and it was ham and tomato my partners crumpets was not toasted and felt like they had been sat on to warm up. After asking for the cheese onion cucumber and lettuce to go on my sandwich it came back and it was still wrong. The sandwich was so tasteless literally tasted of nothing. Went ti pay she clearly could see I was annoyed and just charged me for the food. As I walked away I hear ask the next customer if everything was ok? Clearly do not care about customer service here they just want your money.
Dropped by for lunch. I had a cheese omelette that was lovely. Very tasty and not at all dry. Mr J3 had the all day breakfast, which he enjoyed but was toast heavy. The actual breakfast itself was comparatively quite small with the strangest looking sausage he had ever seen. Tasted fine though. Service could have been more proactive but good enough.
