Contribuisci feedbackI had booked a table at a different restaurant in Southport for my wife's birthday but they hadn't read the reservation properly and could not cater for us due to my wife's allergies. As a result, we went to the Vincent who were absolutely superb from beginning to end. They really understood the issue and took it seriously (for example checked on cocktail, which is often something that gets overlooked). The service was top rate and the food was excellent. To top it off my wife was given a slice of vegan cheesecake (without the allegens) for her birthday. I can't recommend the Vincent highly enough, I only wish I had booked the Vincent to begin with.
We decided to go for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The decor was lovely and it had a lovely atmosphere. We chose the steaks which were cooked to perfection. The menu was pretty good and also the wine list. We were well looked after by Grace who had a good knowledge regarding the different dishes and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely will be back.
Very disappointed this visit. The menu has changed and no Tom yum kai soup! (I probably haven't spelt that correctly. I loved it but it is no longer. I had prawns pil pil and it was quite nice, followed by lamb. Tough as old boots. Could hardly cut it with my knife. The potato accompanying it was a hard square. I was in a group and would have sent it all back, only not to spoil the night as we had a great time otherwise. Shiraz wine was delightful and waitress so lovely. Enjoyed being in the bar area, although it was empty.

Excellent breakfast on Saturday with a friend. Great service and friendly helpful staff. Not somewhere I have ever been before but would recommend.
