Their Brisket and beef rib are right up there with these places as well. Services was excellent, everyone was nice, they took care of my party and then we walked across the street to the shops in the village. If you want to make a day of coming here, plan it the same way we did. Go when people set up shops and go an hour before opening to get in line and get served first
Finally went for the first time this past weekend. Took my folks for my Dad's 74th. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty quickly. Ordered brisket, ribs sausage and 2 sides with drinks for 4 people. Dropped $200. The food was delicious, the best brisket I've had since moving to Texas 15 years ago. The gentleman handing out the bread, pickles, etc. was a hoot! Very personable and friendly. Only negative was the hit to my wallet, seemed a little steep. But the sting passed with my first bite. Guess you get what you pay for!?!
Absolutely insane!! Be ready to have your mind blown! ??
Great little BBQ place in a small town! If it’s out of the way I’d say it’s still well worth the trip! I had the brisket and pork ribs and I was extremely satisfied with both!
Always had great food and the Burnt Bean. Even before it was popular and Texas Monthly put them on the map. I highly recommend the place to friends and family. Just be warned the line can get long and wrap around the building.
