Los Cucos Mexican Cafe - Seguin

On Tuesday, July 23, I went to dinner at Los Cucos, joined by two people and when I got up to leave I fell really hard on my right side due to the step coming down from the booth. All the waiters and waitresses rushed over to help me and got me up standing and I told them I did not feel like I needed EMS to come. I went back to Rockport Wednesday morning, July 24, and called my doctor to st up appt the following day. I went in on Thursday, July 25, to see Dr. Ernest Alsop, Rockport Texas, and he recommended that I go get a hip x-ray. on Friday. On Thursday, July 25 , I called ALBERTO ALFONSO, the manager for that area and told him all about my fall at LOS CUCOS in Seguin . He proceeded to tell me that he knew nothing about it and that every manager is trained to submit an accident report as soon as it happens at their restaurant. He said well there are cameras all in side the restaurant and I said that is great so you will see exactly what happened when I fell due to the step that is in front of all of the booths. He then assured me that I would get a call from his insurance company to go over the facts in detail and will be submitted as an accident report with his insurance company. I told him I would be going on Friday morning for a hip x-ray and I could barely walk and being 70 years old I did not need this to happen. On Friday, July 26, I went to RADIOLOGY ASSOCIATES Portland Texas and had a hip x-ray done. I waited until the following Tuesday, July 30, and since I had not heard anything from their insurance company, I decided to call ALFREDO ALFONSO again. I expressed to him that I had not received a call from his insurance company and he assured me that they will be calling and he was surprised that they hadn’t already. On Wednesday, July 31, I called ALFREDO ALFONSO and of course the call went to his voicemail and I left a long detailed message. It is unbelievable that an establishment like LOS CUCOS, SEGUIN, TEXAS, that has been around so many years would treat their customers in this manner. ALFREDO ALFONSO/District Mgr. and SERGIO CABRERA/President, both are responsible to follow up on any and all accidents that happen at their restaurants. I have lived in Seguin Texas for 20 years and now live in Rockport Texas going on 10 years and have gone to LOS CUCOS numerous times over the 20 years. I do not recommend to anyone to sit in the booths unless you keep a mental note that when you get up to make sure and remember that there is a step going down from each booth. I expected more from LOS CUCOS Seguin Texas.

Great Mexican food with many healthy choices, the service was excellent and it had a great family atmosphere.

I love the watermelon margaritas and the food was great.
