This is the best pub in the area, and we feel fortunate to have it as our local spot. Loren and Pete create a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, and April's cooking is simply outstanding. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and everything is cooked to perfection. The entrecôte steak was incredibly tender—like cutting through butter—and the garlic green beans were absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to trying the new menu soon. I didn't try the food, so I can't give a rating for that. However, it was fully booked on a Sunday lunchtime, which says a lot about the place. Price per person: £20–30. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday dinner with a group of 11 people, and it was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible—very friendly and attentive—and the food was outstanding. I can't wait to return! Rating: Food - 5, Service - 5, Atmosphere - 5. Plus, there's a free parking lot available!

Thank you so much for an absolutely fabulous meal tonight! We had a party of 9 which started as a party of 4, then 6 and a newborn April was accommodating from the start. We were welcomed by the lovely staff, served excellent drinks (clearly lines are cleaned well- very good pint then had the most delicious Sunday Lunch plenty meat, delicious crunchy veg! Credit to you April. Delicious! You’re a credit to the pub. My mum is sooooo picky as she has a degree in home economics and can cook but your food was outstanding. We have and will continue to recommend you to everyone. We shall certainly be back. Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and all round lovely lunch!
