I would give this place a perfect score of 10/10—it's an absolute must-visit! The hot and sour soup is the best I've ever tasted. I'm thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it. The shrimp with bok choy and noodles were equally delicious. Honestly, they could consider raising their prices given the quality of the food; I find myself coming here every week. However, the desserts are a bit too sweet for my taste. The service is fantastic as well. I look forward to enjoying the hot and sour soup weekly and trying different dishes from the menu.

Here’s my personal recommendation list: 1. Baby Napa in broth (ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!) 2. Sliced fresh beef with soft tofu in spicy mala sauce (warning: this one is spicy!) 3. Stewed trotter with chestnuts (this one is sweet). If you’re interested in the Peking duck or lamb bone, be sure to check if you need to reserve them a day in advance. Another great feature is that they offer lunch combos delivered to Stony Brook University, with prices starting at just $10 for a rice bowl soup and $15 for a special duck soup. You should definitely try the rice bowl with sliced fresh beef and soft tofu in spicy mala sauce—it's my favorite rice dish! For me, today, Juyoige is my go-to lunch spot.

This is our go-to spot for Sichuan cuisine in the Suffolk district! Ju You Ge is a family-run restaurant, and you truly feel at home as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is delightful, and we love settling into the U-shaped sofas surrounded by cute soft toys. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food. The staff speaks English well and are happy to help explain the menu. The Mala Tang selection is a great option here. Some of our personal favorites include beef mala tang, shrimp, dumplings in chili oil, and Dan Dan noodles.

Amazing duck and all there other food is great but the duck is mind blowing and everyone there is super nice, cant wait to go back !
