On a lukewarm summer evening we ate here relaxed in the hof. despite a simultaneous high time the service was friendly and everything quickly came to the table. the food was freshly prepared and tasted all at the table alike.Only that it was quite loud from the adjacent road in the hof sounded the evening a bit.

A new, very good reception in this family-run ried alsacian home where tradition and modernity are allied with happiness. an unusual place to discover or revisit for a bucolic and gustative getaway. The dishes are refined and elegantly presented. the wine menu is distinguished by an ever greater choice of good organic wines. very good value for money. The Auberge de l'illwald at the place-dit schnellenbuhl is undoubtedly worth a visit!

The patron brought us to our table(s) and presented us various day dishes on the basis of the large table. Unfortunately he was in a hurry and had no time or had to choose with us the wee to the appetizer or to the main dish. great restaurant with elegant interior decor. we chose gambas with salmon and avocado cream. the appetizer was visually beautifully dressed and tastefully excellent. we chose a 36-hour lamme lobe that tasted excellent. overall a successful restaurant visit, at the higher price level.

The perfection of Auberge d'Ill is the result of loving attention to the smallest details both in the restaurant and the residence. The mission of the entire staff is the satisfaction of their guests. Their knowledge and expertise is impressive and equally impressive is their genuine desire to discover an answer rather than pretending to know something. This is definitely a family enterprise that has succeeded in extending it's dedication to hospitality and excellence through three generations.Guest are made to feel like privileged members of that extended family. This doesn't happen by accident and was a joy to experience.

We were a Sunday evening with family in a place that we didn't know we had reserved on the terrace and despite the fresh wind we were well installed dishes are excellent and very good nevertheless the service was a bit disorganized and there were some worries to have what we ordered the overall impression remains positive thanks to the good plates
