I ordered sour soup with banana flower and some ginger tea and my fiancee had free refills coffee and some fried noodles with chicken. We got a complimentary dessert as well. I definitely enjoyed it and definitely recommended for those who are traveling to Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri.
We walked in this restaurant randomly, then it becomes our canteen for the next 3 days while we're there! Owner Richard and wife are genuinely nice people, and so does their food home cooking indigenous cuisine. Through Richard's recommendation, we went to hiking with local guide lady Heng. It's the highlight of our trip: feeding elephant and swimming with her in a sacred waterfall that no other tourists come! Definitely recommend anyone looking for true flavor of Mondulkiri to try their food and unique experience.
Amazing Food Experience : My friend and I came to have dinner in Bunong Kitchen. It was a very nice experience for both of us. Richard, the owner of this restaurant was very welcoming, serving the native Bunong indigenous dishes with smile and love. He was friendly and happy to answer our curious questions about the indigenous tribe in Mondulkiri area. We enjoyed native food a lot and appreciated the great athmosphere of the place.
Amazing service, the staff was extremely friendly and the food was very tasty. The place itself was very clean and simple. It's a training restaurant where they teach locals how to work in a restaurant. It's a very nice place, if you're in the area give it a shot.
Such a wonderful place! They serve traditional Bunong dishes, including soups with tropical fruits. The portions are very generous, and the service is heartwarming. Loved it.
