The restaurant had an old vibe and seemed to be run by haenyeo (female divers). My mom ordered the seonggye kalguksu (noodle soup with seafood) and I ordered the abalone porridge. We both enjoyed our meals. It wasn't amazing, but it was decent. The restaurant seems to be a popular spot for its view. It would be nice to eat outside with the sea right in front on a good weather day. Another group of customers came in almost towards the end of our meal.
The view of Seongsan Ilchulbong is visible and if there is no wind, it feels like eating outside. The sea urchin kalguksu and sea urchin seaweed soup are hot and melt in your mouth, making it a delicious meal.
This was an interesting restaurant. It was right on the beach with an amazing view and although the menu had limited options, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered their abalone porridge and sea urchin sea weed soup! Both were delicious although I had to chase my porridge with kimchi for enhanced flavors. It was delicious nonetheless. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to enjoy food with a view.
The sea urchin seaweed soup is delicious!
Clear light broth, fresh seafood!
