I recently tried a sampler dish at this restaurant which included aloo gobi, mixed vegetable curry, and dal (possibly tadka). The aloo gobi was delicious, with tomatoes and a bit of spice. The mixed vegetable curry was average, but the dal was tasty and mild. The dish also came with fresh vegetables, yogurt, and a unique green sauce that was sweet rather than savory and spicy. The veg pakoras were light and crispy, the naan was chewy and crispy, and the samosas were tasty. Overall, not the best food I've ever had, but I would still recommend this place.
The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly. The atmosphere was very quiet, though it could be less sterile. I ordered the samosa and vegetable biryani. The biryani came with a sliced egg, which was unexpected as it was not mentioned on the menu. For vegans, it's important to clarify that they want their dish without egg.
A kind of rehearsal plate with aloo gobi, mixed herbal curry and some kind of dal (tadka perhaps the aloo gobi was the kind I like with tomato in it and a bit sharp. I felt like the mixed veg was just like that, but the dal was delicious and mild. that came with fresh, raw vegetables, yogurt and a kind of green sauce. the green sauce that I previously got in Indian/Nepalese restaurants was hearty and spicy, but that was sweet. the veg pakoras were very light and crispy, the naan was chewing and crispy at the same time (perfect and the samosas were delicious. not the best I ever had, but it is recommended to this place.
Friendly staff and really good vegetarian Indian curries Nepali thali set. Very quiet when we were there so maybe not so well known! Up on the 3rd floor right outside exit 8 of Dongmyo station. Full menu available in English. Recommended!
