One can keep appreciating the ambiance of this place. Its so beautiful that it cannot be described in words. It looks beautiful in day and even more beautiful at night. Talking about food : I was here to try thier community eating menu that they have recently launched which is for big groups. We started off with an amazing cocktail by the amazing bar tender Hitesh. The nukkad chai that he made was the best that i have tasted so far. I would like to give a shoutout to Hitesh for his patience in making all the mocktails and cocktails on our request and serving them with huge smile. Thanks to the chef who served us some amazing raj kachori, palak patta chaat, Ratatouille cheese fondue and mezze platter. Each of these dishes were great in taste and point on flavours. I especially loved purani dilli nihari with assorted breads. The chocolate spill over and textures of pineapples are great desserts again Any dessert lover would love them. Special mention to staff for taking care of succha huge crowd so well, actively responding, immediately acting and serving food with smile. Hoping to visit this place again to spend some good time. Proxy is one of the most beautiful cafe I've ever visited in Hyderabad. I love the interiors so much. They have varieties of Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian Food. I've tried more then 10 dishes, and loved the Ratatouille Cheese Fondue, Purani Dilli Nihari Chocolate Spill Over. The Service is fine the Ambience is too good. I'll surely recommend this place for weekend brunch weekend dinner.
Was here on Sunday as they have launched the concept of community menu, which is perfect in case you are planning visiting them with a group of friends or team dinner/lunch, in a group of 5-6 people. The place is quite spacious and has pretty chilled vibe with various options of seating spaces from quiet and cozy outdoor seating to the indoor space with a small stage like structure for live music. Recommendations: Cocktails- Nukkad Chai, Malgudi Day's, Palak Patta Sweet potato chaat, Raj Kachori, Nawabi Mutton Seekh, Dahi Cream Cheese Kebab, Mezze Platter Ambience (5/5): Break Time (3/5) Mango to Mango these two mocktails were below average the first one is a acoconut based mocktail mixed with some apple and mint. The combination tasted a little curdy and the second one tasted like a pulpy mango juice. Summer Card (5/5 This one has an orange base mixed with clove syrup and rosemary. I personally loved the flavor, it was slightly strong due to the clove syrup but I loved it. Nukkad Chai (5/5 This unique cocktail is a dream come true for all those chai lovers out there, I personally loved this cocktail, the favors of Darjeeling tea, Earl Grey and Assam tea is just so perfectly blended with tonic and gin, it is served in a huge glass jug and is perfect for a group of 4-5 people. Malgudi Day's (5/5 This is another community cocktails, mixed with Barcadi, apple , pear and banana. This was slightly strong but is one of the best cocktails I have had. White/Red Wine Sangria (5/5 Ideally Sangria doesn’t really have a peculiar recipe, and theirs is a traditional version with some chopped fruits soaked in brandy and then the wine was poured. I loved the white wine sangria more than the red one. **** Mary (3/5 This cocktail has Tomato juice, salt, Tabasco, W.C Sauce, black pepper mixed with Absolut. It was super spicy and the kind of ingredients used didn't really blend well with each other. Palak Patta and sweet potato chaat(5/5 The palak patta is fried and crunchy, tossed with curd and the right spread of sauces made the flavor turn out more delectable, the bites of fresh pomegranate was adding to the taste. Dahi and Cream Cheese Kebab (5/5 This is one of the best appetizer option for all the vegetarians, it has a crispy and crunchy texture from outside and the filling inside is a perfect blend of yogurt and creamy cheese. Nawabi Mutton Seekh (5/5): This is the best mutton seekh, it is mouth melting with the flavor of cheese and mint. Chicken Tikka Basilico- (4/5) The chicken was cooked till perfection and flavorfulbut was the super spicy Raj Kachori (5/5) Prozy took snack to next level by adding slightly different elements. The kachori was quite huge in size and was served with sweet and spicy chutney, fresh pomegranate, the platter was topped with frozen yogurt crystals which made it more unique. Mezze Platter (5/5 This platter was served with hummus, mayo, babaganoush, Falafel, Pitas, olives and patti samosa. This is definitely a must try. Babaganoush and patti samosa was extremely amazing. Ratatouille Cheese fondue with toasted bread (4/5 The toasted bread is served on a metallic tree like structure which was quite interesting, the cheese fondue is a mixed vegetable with the top layer loaded with cheese. Paneer and green pea sukkha, malabar paratha, crackers, house salad (3/5 Paneer and green pea sukkha was extra sweet which suppressed other flavours. Andhra fish curry, onion ghee pulao (3/5 Onion ghee pulao was really good however the fish curry had raw fish smell and was also slightly high on salt. Purani dilli nihari, kalonji naan (4/5) Nihari is one of my favorite dish and I had bit high expectations from the taste however it felt more like delicious chicken curry and the authentic nihari taste was missing. Chocolate spillover (5/5 a pull me over dessert with fresh fruits covered with melted chocolate topped with some chocolate powder. Texture of pineapple (3/5 a pineapple cake having layers of different textures of pineapples with fresh cream and frozen cream crystals.
Was recently here to try their community menu. This place is for people who like to drink their cocktails and mock tails menu is amazing l. However when it comes to good they need a bit of improvement. Their food was either too flavour full or completely lacked flavour. The Raj Kachori here is a must try btw .The interior and the Ambience Is great for group of friends. Me being a food lover will not be visiting the place again
The concept of fusion food is not new, but chefs all over the world have been creating new and exciting dishes by combining different flavors, textures, and colors. Proxy Bar Cafe is a restaurant that stands out with its unique dishes and presentation. We enjoyed dishes like kung pao chicken in beetroot bao, crispy prawns tempura with spicy mayo, tandoori chicken wings, and nawabi mutton sheekh. The pizza with four cheese variants was a delightful treat, while the lemongrass fish curry and railway mutton curry brought back nostalgic flavors. Desserts like Ice-Cream sandwich and chocolate garden were heavenly, and the dodaburfi cheesecake was a perfect blend of Indian tradition and modern twist. Proxy Bar Cafe is a must-visit for those looking for a unique dining experience.
