Contribuisci feedbackThe best food in goa found here . Very quaint n cozy vibe.good service.at this point My fav resto. Porvorim otherwise not a frequented spot by tourists is now gainin momemtum cause of dis spot.
Had passed by couple of times on our earlier visits to Goa but given the preponderance of new eating places & old favorites somehow never made it. Our loss. Tried different small plates - beef chimichuri (meat could be a little firmer), roast pork pieces which are fried & then served in a kasundi sauce with curry patta tempering & sauteed onions (will try to replicate back home), prawns with kismur + candied ginger(very strong flavour) & fried squid followed with Coffee pannacotta. Staff is very helpful & will guide you. Will stay on the favourite list for subsequent visits
We discovered this restaurant on Zomato and being food enthusiasts, we decided to visit it on a Sunday afternoon. With the help of Google, we found "MARACAS" with its inviting peachy pink wall and teal blue doorway. The owner named the eatery after a musical instrument, and it is the brainchild of Rahul Pinto, who transformed his childhood home into a unique dining space. The outdoor seating area features creative arrangements of old furniture, surrounded by white walls and greenery. The indoor seating is a mix of tall tables, chairs, and soft sofas. The food, including Crab Dip, Spicy Prawns in Port Wine, Baked Brie, Liver Paté, Thai Chicken Stir Fry, and Beef Chimichurri, was delicious and left us in a food coma. The variety of starters on the menu will require multiple visits to try them all. The graffiti in the toilets adds to the innovative atmosphere. Overall, a great dining experience. Positives include strategic location, ample parking, and long opening hours. Negatives include being closed on Tuesdays and potential closures due to power outages. It's recommended to call ahead to check. Cheers to Rahul and his team!
Nice place to chill out. Very good ambience . They have open air sit out with nice garden. Food is amazing. You have to try their chicken kra pow and Pesto eggplant, so delicious ????
The exterior of the restaurant appears promising, but there are limitations in the variety of meals offered. I believe they have the potential to improve upon their current offerings.
