L'Auberge des Mille Etangs - Servance

Beautiful location, but not here. very unfriendly, very unfriendly even. on the first look it looks like this restaurant has everything. after the visit people (not only us, also the other visitors) have a bad taste. the wee is okay, but expensive. too much. the food was cold (cart, escape in English), the service was a catastrophe, the toilets a chaos. a great disappointment. do not go there, there are many great alternatives close by. check the other reviews, there are a lot of disappointed customers.

L`Auberge des mille etangs can not be frightened in his look, but can not be deceived. the stunning interior of this rebuilt beauty offers the perfect scenery and ambiente for the pièce de rèsistance of the experience. at the moment when you read the chalkboard menu (wordbook if your French is rustic) you can say that the cook is not a superior here. there is no place for picky food. the two or three choices for each cure are authentic french (crabbit, cherry legs and cooks, par example) and cooked for perfection. a wide selection of weeping, many available by the glass, semi-bottle or pitcher just go to complement their meal. the assiette of desserts was by far the best I ever tasted (and it was against a 3 michelin star opponent). if you want to fish, they can for an additional fee the 4 different views that surround the website, with a lot of fishing on camp. we were mentioned in the chambres d`hôtes on the website, which were clean and functional with extremely charming older French owners. the breakfast was simple, but delicious with warm croissants, brot and homemade preserves. the only disadvantages we found were that the room was very cold (it was unseasonally cold and wet weather) and the accommodation is about 1 km from the restaurant, so expect to walk or take the car to and from dinner. rarely surpasses a place my expectations like L`Auberge des mille etangs did, and I hope only that this place can retain its charm and authenticity in years to come, despite what is certain to increase popularity.

Very good reception in this hostel that accepted us at 14:15 for the meal. a good kitchen, nice atmosphere. terrace on the edge of a lake. Ancienne farmhouse very restored.

4 kms of wood to reach the inn after a well winding road.... the path leads to a beautiful pond surrounded by lush vegetation... the inn is planted in this decor!a menu of all made local products with 3 entries and 3 dishes to choose and an avalanche of small desserts ... map of the wines representative of the nearby wine regions. warm interior decoration around the hunting and chickens.... enhance its digestion of a nice hiking loop in the middle of the ponds fries the perfection of a very beautiful day!!!

The reception lacks heat, we were allowed to return at noon because at 11h50 they were not yet ready! the answers to our questions were cold, here is to take or leave! a single menu at 39 €, proposal of 3 entries and 3 dishes, one of which, in this case, the pig's feet, do not come back into the range of menus at 39 €, no research in the recipe, quality of the The mini-dessert tray is the only dish appreciated in our 10-person dish! we will return to the region for the beauty of the landscape but certainly not for this establishment.
