Tielle Cianni Marcos - Sète

We ended up there because no restaurant in the whole of the area would want to serve us food from 2 pm. We should have known...but when it is a touristic area we thought people would be more willing to make money! Anyway if u are stranded like us after the official food hours in France buy a hot tielle! really worth it! I have no idea how they are made but the poeple there brag about doing them the old fashioned way so we gave it a try and ended up buying some to take away as well! Really tasty, no fishy smell (what I dreaded more), simple and totally not that expensive considered their sizes. Next time you are in Tielle look for the place (not hidden at all). Staff was not excessively friendly but they were not mean, so not much to complain about. I'd go again and again!

We walked by this place when we we strolling through Sette and were surprised to see all the livelihood in front of a bakery. All people there were eating pastry and all looked very happy. That's always a great sign and we were actually ready to have a small bite ourselves. We bought two different pastries and really enjoyed the filling, the taste, the crispness and the fact we were now part of the happy crowd!
