They have day of the week menu nights that are good value. Menu is not particularly interesting and stays to the basics. Pizzas are good. Don't ask the kitchen staff to vary anything because a lot of the menu items are pre-made (elsewhere for the...pastas and pasta sauces) so if you have a diner with a specific allergy, you might be best to dine at a different establishment.
I attended a going away event for our board chair at Lily’s in the private event space. It’s difficult to get a read on how good the place really is, so I’ll stick to what I saw. We were pretty much left to our devices,...but the bar attendant was pretty surly, which wasn’t great. The food was pretty standard party finger food like pies, meatballs and filo pastry and the wines were standard discount labels. Nothing bad here, but nothing memorable.
Spacious, clean place intense Italian cuisine is in order. could be improved
We went there for6.30 dinner on Saturday 27 June and the place was humming! Very busy and every one seemed to be having a good time. Meal service was a little slow. I had ordered the Trio of seafood which at $42 I expected something...really special. But it was very disappointing. For the money I got a barramundi fillet (tasted rather greasy) three king prawns half peeled so with the heads on they looked bigger than they really were; and three octopus tentacles. The two others had a pasta dish tasty) and veal parmigana both in the $20 range. Would I go back? Maybe to try one of the specialty nights.
