The Lantern - Sevenoaks

I went here on a recommendation from my friend John the rib socexpected big things as I know he likes his food being 24 stone,This place is ridiculous! You can’t really go to far wrong with Chinese but this place has taken it to another level! It’s cost me a weeks money for two dishes that were shocking! I first off started with a quarter of duck, not sure what part of the bird it was but by judging how much meat there was I should have imagined it was the foot! Dunno why they gave me 8 pancakes the amount would not of filled 1! Then the chicken foo yung that was inedible due to the amount of salt, it would have sent your blood pressure to orbit! Overall it’s double dear and double disgusting,Your better off with a ham sandwich!!!

I have just had a takeaway, it has to be one of the worst meals I have had from any Chinese ever. Ordered the food took about 10 minutes to prepare! very fast but it would be, as it was obviously prepared sometime before and reheated. Arrived home to a lukewarm tasteless meal. Never again.

Food nice staff a bit unfriendly and unpleasant . Felt rushed didn’t finish my food and they taking plates away already had a bone in my hand nowhere to put it

Wish I had read the review of the Lantern Chinese takeaway before we ordered our evening meal there yesterday. 4 different main dishes ordered ' truly awful and inedible bar the prawn crackers which were fine. Sweet ad sour pork, Cantonese style inedible had it been cooked 3x meat shrivelled. 2 different chicken dishes dreadful as was the chicken and cashew nuts with yellow bean sauce disgusting and after 2 mouthfuls discarded. Advised AVOID this place
