Lagoons 1770 Resort - Seventeen Seventy

Staff very friendly, very hospitable. Lovely facilities and over looking the well kept pool grounds was very relaxing. At night the pool area is beautiful. We had a one bedroom apt on 2nd floor. Good size, 2 seater lounge, dining table and chairs inside as well as outside on the balcony. Nice to have a washing machine/dryer as well. Great having an elevator. Undercover parking is good. These apartments are located in a great spot between Agnes waters and 1770 with the beach easy to access down the side street. Location given as 2 out of 5 is not because of the apartments but just overall in travelling to town of 1770. Depends on what you are looking for, relaxing at a resort style apt, 1770 lagoons central is perfect but if fishing is your goal, you need a boat to make it easier to access the fishing spots. And watch out for the sandflies and mosquitoes, hence the lower score for location. No boat parking facilities at these apts unless you park out on the road. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 2

Fantastic resort, very relaxing, clean room with all the amennities. Amazing pool surrounded by the resort. Good choice for family stay, kids love this place.

Clean and tidy room.Fantastic location close to the beach and impressive pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the spa on the balcony.The Plantation Bar and Restaurant at the resort did a great continental breakfast and for dinner- the steak was one of the best we've had. Portions were very generous and the cocktails were delicious.Would definitely recommend!

We did not have a pool view but a fence view. A high solid metal fence two metres from our window. There were warning notices on the walls making me too nervous to use the spa bath and worried that I would be charged for damage I did not cause. Nicely appointed room.
