Ming's Cafe - Severna Park

We were not impressed with this restaurant. We thought the food was just okay, and the service was decent with a rating of 2 for food and 5 for service.

I have been dining at this restaurant for years. In my opinion, it is the best Chinese food in Anne Arundel county without a doubt! My go-to dish is the Sesame Chicken. The brown sauce they use is my absolute favorite, no matter which entree it is paired with.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this Chinese restaurant. The food was bland and poorly prepared, with excessive amounts of dough in the dumplings making them inedible. My group became sick after eating here, including our dog who also had some of the food. The sesame chicken was average, the house lo mein was greasy and had a fishy taste, and the shrimp were not good. The chicken chow mein was also lacking in flavor. I had high hopes based on reviews but was ultimately let down. I do not recommend dining here as it was a waste of money and left us feeling ill.

Avoid ordering the sweet and sour chicken at this restaurant. The chicken was mushy inside, possibly undercooked or not drained properly. The sweet and sour sauce was disappointing, lacking sweetness and containing hot peppers and onions. My husband enjoyed the beef and broccoli, but the combo plate came with a small serving of rice. The egg rolls were filled with shrimp and pork, with a nice exterior but an overpowering taste of overcooked pork inside. I am unsure if I will return, but the customer service was good and the restaurant was clean.
