We've been going to Romilos for years and had great experiences. But we were there about 6 times for Trivia in 2022 and had problems almost every time. Maybe it's a little unfair to evaluate them during this time when it's hard to find help and when they're super busy, but they need to adapt when they want to host Trivia. A few events that happened this year on various occasions: the server has screwed our credit cards and I always ended up for a more expensive meal, the server fell garlic bread on the seat and picked it up without replacing it, the Greek Pommes had hardly any feta, the Greek salad was very overwhelming (if you don't like much and much salad), they screwed our order, and the server is rarely checked in sight. Inconsistently, Trivia holds for 2-3 hours and we order food and drinks, but the servers and kitchen staff need to get up when they commit to host Trivia.
The best we ate during our meal was the mini spinnins (probably frozen). The soup was marginal at best. I had better pizza from Little Cesar?s. The spaghetti and meatballs were absolutely disgusting. The meatballs were sponge and tasted like dog meat and the sauce melted like an armpit. I didn't make it. Our waitress began to be polite, but ignored the others we got into our meal, and when we were ready to leave, she was not a place to find. I never wanted to leave a restaurant faster.
A good place to relax and enjoy a morning cup of coffee and breakfast. No hurry. No pleasure while enjoying the morning and talking to friends. The food is good and the coffee is good. I was there several times and enjoyed it. Come back.
If I could, I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars. The service had a couple bumps, but overall it was good. Almost all the items we chose were great?for the price. I would call this place a ?Diner+?. Some of the menu items seemed to be filler items that are not made in-house, but the home made items we had were on point.
