Big portions and cheap food. But the flavor wasn't there. Everything was very bland. Pork, and the brisket, had little flavor. Hopefully it was just an off day as we came here due to the good reviews. Didn't taste like smoked bbq, but it wasn't dry at all. Sort of like a crockpot chicken that is shredded. Bbq sauce was the only flavor and we had to add that.
THIS RESTAURANT WAS AMAZING!! My grandma and I were visiting tennessee for vacation, and I came across this little restaurant.. We tried it, and we got greeted by Eli, calling us “beautiful ladies” which was already a win. Eli took our order and brought out the AMAZING food. I even bought some of their barbecue sauce to take back home with me. Eli, I don’t know that you’ll see this, but if you do good luck with everything in the future, I wish you the absolute best! You were an amazing server and I’m glad we got the chance to cross paths Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50
The pulled pork sandwich with the spicy sauce was the best I have ever had. My husband had the barnyard burger that was juicy and beautifully seasoned. The prices are great as we feed 7 people for under $90, drinks included. I would highly recommend. We are vacationing in the area and may be back a few more times before we leave.
While searching for nearby barbecue joints, I stumbled upon some reviews for this family-owned hole-in-the-wall place with nothing but great things to say about the service and the food!! Please do check this place out if you are in pigeon forge!! The brisket loaded tots and the fried pickles are the best I’ve had in my life. Clean restaurant, clean restrooms, perfect service, reasonable prices and the FOOD the FOOD Highly recommend, highly!
