This is a really good little café, which is excellent value for money. Fantastic selection of reasonably priced and tasty snacks, drinks and beers. Great for a light lunch, snack or just a quick coffee/beer. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
We stopped here twice for coffee and a cake but why do staff have to be so uncaring and off-hand? We encountered this in other places around Seville.
My wife and I used to have our evening coffee at the Cafe de Indias in Avenida de la Constitucion, but that one has closed down and now, as far as I know, this one in San Pablo is the only Cafe de Indias left in the Casco Antiguo. The range of coffee is very good and keenly priced. Besides the obvious classics (cafe solo etc), there is a range of mini liqueur coffees (for example, mini-Irish and so on), and some tall coffee of which my favourite is the Cafe Vienes: coffee, cannella, and a large amount of whipped cream. The perfect cap over a tapas dinner.
The pavement cafe tables are a bit noisy but inside is cooler. Excellent icecream selection and lovely cakes. Just right for the sugar rush say between 3 5pm. We went there at 7pm and it was still open just! At the end of Zaragosa Street and junction with San Pablo. Icecreams competively priced but the cakes were pricier but large portions! We think it a good place for a breakfast coffee and people watching as the locals go to work. Under 5 minutes up San Pablo (away from river) to ladies fashion area and the English department store. Immediately nearby are KFC, Burgerking and Barclays Bank. May you be blessed as you travel through life. Chris, Anna and Jordan. PS The correct name is Cafe De Indias
