I was first introduced to Crustum by my host mother while studying abroad in Seville and went back to the bakery every Friday afterwards to get bread for the week. I am gluten intolerant and have gotten used to not being able to have good quality, freshly made bread without having to pay an absurd amount of it but Crustum makes both round loafs and baguettes of high quality, delicious gluten-free bread for people who are gluten intolerant (NOT CELIAC). It tastes just like real bread and Isabella, the woman who runs the bakery and makes the bread and pastries, is such a kind person that will strike up friendly conversation with anyone and everyone who enters the bakery. I arrived 15 minutes after closing one Friday and she saw me at the door and let me buy my weekly bread anyway. She is truly a gem and I wholeheartedly recommend Crustum to anyone visiting Seville!
We found this place by coincidence but we love every product there.. Isabella in the bakery was so nice and full of positive energy: everything on the store was perfect.. specifically spinach empanadas and spinach breads were perfect.. bakery is closed around 2:30 so don’t miss it :
