Frustrated, we had to leave without getting any food or drinks for our long road trip. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all rated as a 1 out of 5.
My experience at the Dairy Queen in Seymour, TX was extremely unpleasant and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I could, I would give it zero stars. The restaurant was infested with flies, making it impossible to enjoy my meal without constantly swatting them away. The lack of basic hygiene standards was shocking for a place serving food. The restroom was equally horrifying, with a dirty toilet seat and urinal full of urine. Our order was also messed up, with several items forgotten and unapologetic staff when we pointed it out. To add to the bad experience, there was no ketchup available, and when I asked for some, I was given a dirty, half-empty bottle. Overall, the Dairy Queen in Seymour, TX is a disaster with unsanitary conditions, disorganization, and apathetic staff. I would recommend avoiding this place and opting for one of the many other dining options in Seymour instead.
This DQ is really hit or miss. It relies ALOT on the staff working when you go in. My family and I have had nice meals and desserts there. We have also had staff that was so lazy rude, with cold food and even the drinks tasted off, and music so weirdly loud that we just to go home and eat. Recently we have decided not to go there anymore as we are never sure if we are going to get a good meal. The 3 stars are for all of the people that were actually pleasant and did their jobs well otherwise it'd be 0.

I was here yesterday and witnessed two employees grabbing food with bare hands and topping ice cream with toppings using their bare hands after that fact I witnessed the young man scratch his head multiple times without washing his hands and continued to grab rte food with bare hands I confronted him and the shift leader and nothing was done I told the young man to go wash his hands and witnessed him sprinkle water on his fingertips for .5 seconds and then dry his hands on his shirt I also witnessed the young man grab a peanut off the counter and proceeded to put it in his mouth when he saw me looking at him he put the peanut in his pocket and carried on after that I witnessed the girl behind the counter break pieces of a cookie with bare hands and put it in someone's ice cream I confronted both managers and they came up with excuses why some of this stuff should be tolerated I for one will go out of my way to bypass this location and highly recommend you do too
