Service attitude let’s it down. We have returned here regularly over several years as it is such a lovely location. The food is ok But the waiting staff! just so miserable and unwelcoming! All other restaurants in Crete that we return to are so happy to see us again and are friendly and lovely. Not here. These guys couldn’t care less. The same waiters every year, they clearly recognise us and show their usual level of friendliness ie zero. We’ll not be going again. Shame as it really doesn’t take a lot to make people feel welcome. This is a family-owned restaurant that two brothers own. Treated like royalty, we loved this stop. And, of course, the scenery and open-air dining are unbelievable. The food was delectable. Good value for money We were at the end of the season. It was the last restaurant open. In France, the owner would have benefited from it. Here, the manager was very attentive, the waiters efficient, polite and attentive. I think many restaurants could follow suit.
