Screamers Ice Cream - Shabbona

Every time I visit this restaurant, they always mess up my order. I gave up trying after it happened three times. I remember one time I ordered mozzarella sticks, but when I went to pick up my order, they had given me something else.

Instead of discussing the food quality, it's important to highlight that the employees at this restaurant are paid below minimum wage. Minors are being overworked with longer and later shifts than the law allows. Moreover, workers are required to attend unpaid, hour-long meetings related to their job duties.

I really wanted to support this local restaurant, but unfortunately they made it impossible. The staff, including the kids working the register and taking phone orders, are poorly trained and lack basic customer service etiquette. They seem clueless about the menu and orders are consistently incorrect. The wait for food is excessive and when you finally receive it, the bread is stale. I wish I could continue supporting this place, but the experience was so disappointing. Save your money and avoid this restaurant to avoid wasting your time. It's truly unfortunate.

This is a cute little place and the food pretty darn good. They serve several different things- the best of which is homemade fries-yum! I also had a huge pulled pork sandwich. The girls that work there are very nice and there's inside and outside seating and a drive through. We plan to go again when out for a ride.

Great place to stop with a lot of items on the menu. The prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly. The Oreo malt I had was delicious!
