The Ugly Duckling Cafe - Shaftesbury

What a great discovery! This charming cafe has friendly staff. When we visited with our 3-year-old daughter, we were seated in the "naughty corner," which was just perfect for us because we had plenty of space for all our coats and bags. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special, providing her with books and toys to keep her entertained while we waited for our meal. They even packaged up the leftovers our little girl didn't finish for us to take home. I would give this place five stars.

This restaurant is a must-visit if you're hungry. The service is great and the staff is pleasant. The food is delicious - we visited on both Saturday and Sunday because it's just that good.

So friendly and inexpensive. The staff were lovely. Took a little while to find it but well worth it. Will definitely go again.

This is our favorite spot for lunch in Shaftesbury. The staff is extremely helpful and even gave treats to our dog. The Ploughman's platter is delicious and the steak sandwich is a must-try. We will definitely be returning.

Every 6 months we meet at The Ugly Duckling, and have done for many years and will continue for many more. Tanya and her team are brilliant and we always sit in the naughty corner. Love the food service and atmosphere. Thank you for looking after us.
