What a beautiful pub, quite old worldie, great selection of beer, weine and spirituosen, the beer garden was beautiful all the fairy lights, it had over head heating to keep them warm, great music, a beautiful place to chill have a meal or just a drink or 2

Beautiful place with view of the landscape on the back. the lunch menu is wonderful. have not yet tried dinner times, but will be sure to be up to a day.

Great pub with excellent service and fantastic view. beautiful building, but parking can sometimes be difficult as they can only park on the road. eating is nice, but pints can be expensive. £5.75 is not unheard of which this can make a bit more expensive than pubs in the local environment. I love to visit it and it is one of my favorites in shaftesbury.

We have booked in advance, as we travel from winchester last Sunday to meet friends for lunch in shaftesbury. the pub was very busy when we arrived, but the service and the food were good, although there was a little hiccup served in our eating at various times. the young man responsible and his team were very professional and friendly..will come back!

LOVELY view off the deck. The chicken pie was delicious. We're on a walking holiday and I recommend stopping for a pint and dinner on the deck.
