Taco Providentia - Shakopee

The food here is simply incredible! Definitely worth the wait! It was our first time visiting, and the waitress was friendly and provided excellent recommendations. I enjoyed everything I ordered, especially the salsa flight and the birria tacos! This is the ideal spot for family gatherings, outings with friends, or a date night. I could have spent the entire evening enjoying drinks and their delicious homemade salsas. If I lived closer, I would definitely come here every day!

FABULOUS 10/10 must visit! I don't even know where to start. Tacos amazing. Pineapple Bowl amazing. Service/Staff amazing. Salsa flight chips amazing. Expect a waiting period when you go during dinner hours (we waited 25 minutes but they will call you), but it is absolutely worth waiting. They have 4.9 stars for one reason.

Best food in Shakopee and some of the best Mexican food in twin cities area! The food speaks for itself, amazing drinks and very friendly staff. We tried the pineapple drink, the hibiscus and the regular margaritas. For dinner we had the Nachos and the Salsa flight. All Tacos are incredible and we have also tried the Burrito and the Birria, which was just as good. Recommend and value every ride / wait! We sat on the outdoor terrace two nights in succession and will definitely come back!!

Best Mexican I ever had in my whole life. Could be a little to do around the top hours, not a ton of seats, but many people seem to take. Great atmosphere of great waiter ingenious food.

We’ll definitely be returning! We dropped in and were really impressed. We tried the salsa flight, which was a fun way to sample various salsas and guacamole. I ordered a dish whose name I can’t recall, which consisted of tortilla chips cooked in green sauce and topped with pork belly, cheese, and sour cream. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had the torta, and he said it was fantastic. The wait staff was incredibly friendly; you could tell they genuinely care about providing a great experience and take pride in their restaurant and food. I highly recommend it!
