However, I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside. While the entrance may be modest, the interior is spacious and inviting—at least twice the size of King House, and it has a clean, modern vibe. The service was fantastic as well. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were generous enough not to charge me for my 2-year-old daughter without even asking for her age. The dining area is expansive, featuring seven large stations, including a fresh salad and sushi bar, a hot Chinese duck station, a fried foods and dim sum area, an American food bar, a soup station, a seafood bar (though it was empty during lunch), a dessert and ice bar, and a Mongolian BBQ corner. Many dishes were quite tasty, such as their steamed chicken, which was juicy and tender, reminiscent of those you'd get in a made-to-order Chinese restaurant. The hot and sour soup was good, and the American food offerings were decent as well. While some items were just okay, overall, I found that most dishes tasted better than what I've had at local buffets. Taste is subjective, of course, so your experience may vary. For an all-you-can-eat lunch, the price was just $6.49 per person, with only $2.49 for kids aged four. I'm glad I gave this place a try, and I plan to stop here whenever I pass through the area in the future. The buffets in Williamsport could certainly use some improvement, especially with a new Chinese buffet opening soon in Montoursville, just a few miles away. I can’t wait to see how that turns out!
I have always enjoyed dining here; the buffet food is consistently fresh. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very affordable.
This restaurant has let us down during our family's visit. While they usually have a great selection of freshly cooked dishes, there's always something for picky eaters as well. My wife prefers this place over any other Chinese restaurant and really loves the food options. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it easy to have conversations. We’ve never been before, but we’re planning to go this weekend.
Only the problem is that it is too many things to choose and I eat too much. The shrimps are cocktail size. It's okay. Definitely worth the price. You have a great choice, you do not need to be filled like Chinese food.
Will not be going back. My last experience there was horrible. A bug in my drink, server was very rude and tried to move my granddaughter's car seat with her in it. And there was a bug on our table when we were seated. My daughter was up from fl and I took her for what I thought would be a pleasant dining experience and it turned out very badly.
